Dr. Edward Akuamoah-Boateng is a prominent figure in financial management, holding the position of Deputy Controller & Accountant General since 2019. His journey has been marked by key roles and achievements, showcasing a rich tapestry of experience and expertise.
As the Deputy Controller, Dr. Boateng oversees Financial Management Services and Training, playing a pivotal role in coordinating and providing strategic input to three crucial directorates: National Accounts, Financial Monitoring, and Public Financial Management Reform, Research, and Development. He became a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants – Ghana in May 2007.
